Airdriven racing car |”Be STEAM!” project
In addition to teaching scientific knowledge such as aerodinamics in order to make the children understand how the VEHICLE is driven, we develop the skills and competences necessary for working with materials and using technologies, thus making the creation of an object a source of pleasure and the means of self-expression.
The project demonstrates the connecting points of the material and the virtual world. It teaches traditional craftsmanship techniques (measuring, sawing, templatemaking, punctuating, drilling, deburring, grinding, bending wood with steam) and makes the students understand the logic of the 3D modeling programs and the related manufacturing options. As part of the task, the students are expected to learn the English names of the tools they used and the concepts related to the work they did, in the English class.
